Reaching the top floor!
Women's Housing Company has relocated its
office from the third to the fifth floor.
The move was not as smooth as hoped and
we apologise for any delays that may have
occurred.
Staff are very happy with the new premises
and keen to have this reflected in continued
positive services to our tenants and applicants.

Annual General Meeting
The 2006 AGM will be held in September,
details will be posted on the website as
soon as they have been decided.

Stock Transfers - additional
properties
Seven community housing providers were chosen
for the Stock Transfer program and Women's
Housing Company is one of these. This will
mean additional properties to manage for
the company over the next few years.
Properties under the Stock Transfer program
are properties with tenants currently managed
by the Department of Housing. The management
then shifts from public housing (DoH) to
a community housing provider. Women's Housing
Company is looking forward to this growth.

Registration with the Office
of Community Housing
Women's Housing Company is registered with
the Office of Community Housing as a straight
'A' grade provider of community housing.
First registration was in 2005, and the
same re-registration was upheld in June
2006.

Accreditation with the
Office of Community Housing
Women's Housing Company successfully obtained
3-year accreditation status in March 2005.
Accreditation is assessed against National
Community Housing Standards.
